Volunteers are the backbone of everything that the Friends of the Crisis Center and the Alachua County Crisis Center do. Every year, volunteers gave tens of thousands of hours of their time to help make our community a better place - by being that voice on the other end of the line when someone is in need, by responding face-to-face to clients in crisis, by offering training and outreach programs to local organizations and by providing the manpower to build the Survivors of Suicide Memory Garden.

We are always looking for community members to get involved with our group! We have opportunities in all areas: volunteer support, Survivor support, event planning and more! Volunteer your time - as little or as much as you can - and help us make a difference in our community.
